While we all want to relax and regroup over the summer, after a long year of school, summer is a great time to get out and do something new and exciting! From big plans like traveling to low-key plans like starting a new book, Summer is full of new opportunities. Take some time in the next few weeks to see what you would like to be your 10 Goals for Summer! Here at Faviana we made a list to get you started, see what you think and then make one for yourself.
Take a Road Trip
Road trips are an easy and cheap way to get out and see something new with your best friends. Even if you just go upstate and see a place you’ve never been to, pack some healthy snacks and go!
Learn to Bake
Learn how to make a killer pie, or if you don’t know how, make your goal to learn how to cook a meal! Make yourself and your family a big dinner after you have perfected your skills.
Watch The Sunrise
We know, summer is for sleeping in! But try to get up and see the sunrise once or twice, you won’t regret it. And go back to sleep after!
Go To A Concert
You’ve been dying to see that band, now is the time to book those tickets! Even terrible seats make for a fun memory.
Make A Change
Maybe you try out that hair color thats trending this summer, or get your ears double pieced! Put yourself out of your comfort zone and make a change.
Journaling is so healthy. Many people say they are going to start and don’t, or give up too quickly. Try to stick to it all summer, and see what happens!
Increase Mental And Physical Health
If you have been trying to get yourself in a good place mentally and physically summer is a perfect time to do it. See if you can make changes in your routine to improve mental and physical health, even if it is just a small change.
Learn A Language
Even if you just learn the basics with an app on your phone, learning a new language is extremely good for your brain.
Start A Blog
If you aren’t a journal person, how about a blog? Blogs are great because you can share anything and everything, and sites can be created for free on various platforms.
Cut Out Tech
If you are looking for a change in your mental health, look into cutting down on your phone and computer use. Challenge yourself to spend a little less time on your phone before bed, and maybe start a new book instead.
