Start from 14th street and 10th avenue, where you will find one of the entrances to the High Line, Chelsea’s elevated park built on a historic freight rail line. The views from here are spectacular, and you will find various staircase exits until the end of the park, located on 34th street and 12th avenue. If you take the exists and explore the adjacent streets, you will found hundreds of small and large galleries worth exploring. Particular favorites include David Zwirner Gallery, Booth Gallery, and ClampArt. Why go to Broadway when you can go to the park and catch free Shekeaspere plays? If you go to Delacorte Theater in Central Park you will see incredible productions of the master’s classics.

Their first run of the summer Julius Caesar, was performed from May 23 to June 18, and it was a smashing success. Now, they are coming back with A Midsummer’s Night’s Dream (arguably Shakespeare’s best comedy), which will run from July 11 to August 13. You don’t want to miss out!
