DIY: 4th of July Nail Design

2018.06.30

The best way to complete your American beauty look is by adding a 4th of July nail design! This is the perfect addition to your All-American accessories and hair, so it’s a no-brainer to try it out. The best part is that you can DIY right in the comfort of your home.

Materials Needed

Minimal materials are needed to complete a 4th of July nail design, which makes the process even easier. This is what you’ll need to gather:

  • Red nail polish
  • White nail polish
  • Blue nail polish
  • A bobby pin

4th Of July Nail Design

The first step in creating a 4th of July nail design is to paint a base coat. You can choose to paint your nails in any pattern you like using the red, white, and blue polishes. We chose to paint majority of our nails red!

After you are satisfied with your base coats, allow you nails ample time to dry before the next step. We suggest 15-30 minutes!

As soon as your nails are dried, it’s time to start the design! Start by spilling out a small circle of nail polish onto a disposable surface. Again, you can choose whichever color that will fit your design best. Then, take your bobby pin and dip the end into the polish.

With this, you can create dots effortlessly. So, start dotting away on your nails where you want the design in place. Let your creative mind flow to create new and exciting patterns!

Once you’re happy with your 4th of July nail design, top those babies with a top coat and allow ample time to dry so they don’t get ruined!
