If you are visiting NYC for the first time, there are so many apps that are perfect for navigating the city! Whether it is a food app, or an app for getting around NYC in style, we have found the best of everything. Here are Faviana’s tips for Must Have Apps For Visiting New York!

Cabs and Ride Shares

Uber or Lyft

The infamous ride-sharing apps that we’ve come to love! A go-to is Uber but either is convenient and cheaper than a cab ride (without the expectation of the 20% tip). You can even schedule future rides. Getting somewhere has never been easier!

Via

It is similar to your well-known Uber and Lyft apps, but only offered in select cities. The difference is that it’s only shared rides, no solo missions allowed and it is actually more affordable.

CabSense

Shows you which street corners in NYC are the best for catching a taxi cab. Ratings go from zero to five stars. Also allows you to “Shake ‘N Hail” to catch a cab. Taxi!
