You probably spent so long picking out your prom dress, but did you ever think about what to wear after prom? Sure, you can wear your beautiful gown and heels out afterwards, but there’s other options as well. Since your hair and makeup is done, you can slip into a more comfortable dress and pair of shoes to still look chic on your outgoings. For a more laid-back approach, pack with you a cute top and your favorite jeans or leggings. If you’re staying in with your girlfriends, then a t-shirt and sweatpants are your best friend. It all depends on what your plans for after prom are, so make sure you know and plan accordingly!
What To Pack For After Prom
Your outfit for after prom is only half the battle. Once you have that decided, it’s time to pack the rest of the essentials. The number one thing is to bring a comfortable pair of shoes, because you’re not going to want to be wearing heels for 12 hours, no matter where you end up. The second item is a phone charger, since your phone battery isn’t going to last all night either. This is not only essential to stay in contact with your family and friends, but also for continuing to take pictures! You may also want to pack makeup remover, socks, a brush, hair tie, deodorant, a toothbrush, and some money.
What To Do After Prom
Now that you have an outfit and bag for after prom, it’s time to carry on with your after prom activities! Here you have many options. There’s tons of teen-friendly clubs that host their own after party festivities in a safe and supervised environment. Of course, you can also go out somewhere else, such as a restaurant, movie theater, or bowling alley. For those who want to venture outdoors, a bonfire on the beach or camping out is perfect. If you already got your fill for the night, there’s nothing wrong with just kicking it back with your friends at your house. Just relax the rest of your night by snuggling with your closest friends and talking until the late hours of the night. This is the best sleepover opportunity to change into your pajamas, order pizza, and reminisce about the greatest night you and your friends just had.
