After a long and cold winter, spring is finally here and we are so excited for the warmer weather and more outdoor activities! More importantly though, we can not wait for all of the new spring trends to enter our wardrobe. Inspired by the runways from fashion week in Paris and Milan, we’ve compiled a list of some of our favorite trending colors for this season and some styling tips on how to pull them off effortlessly.
Black and White Polka Dots

Polka dots have been experiencing a major resurgence as of late, partially due to some major ‘80s nostalgia that has been driving inspiration for some of our fave runways such as stunning looks from Jacquemus and Jason Wu and gaining traction after being worn on the likes of Parisian it-girls like Jeanne Damas and AnneLaure Moreau, who have given the look a certain timeless je nais se quoi. Channel this chic and laid-back look with Faviana Style S10238 which is a stunning choice for the warmer weather. Pair the look with some white cat eye sunnies from Saint Laurent, a pair of mirrored white slip on mules from Proenza Schouler, our favorite go-to denim jacket from Acne, and a minimal black handbag to carry all of your essentials.
Pink & Red

Pink and red hues have been one of this season’s most talked about pairings. Originally considered a serious fashion faux pas, this past season has officially changed our minds after seeing this color combination sent down the runway by the likes of Gucci, Valentino, Céline, and Balenciaga. Needless to say, you can consider us official fans of this combination. Try this color combo by rocking Faviana Style 7747 in ruby and pair this chiffon number with minimal sandals from our favorite go to flats by Ancient Greek Sandals. Add some extra flair by adding a black leather jacket and styling it off-the-shoulder. Make sure to grab your favorite pink bag as a chic accessory to complete the look. We are currently dreaming about this trendy bucket bag by Mansur Gavriel.
Mauve

Nothing says spring quite like pastels, and one of our favorite pastels for Spring 2019 is mauve. We were loving the color on display for the Kate Spade SS19 show and this gave us some major inspo on how we have been styling mauve in our own wardrobes lately. Be your own pastel princess by picking up Faviana Style S10209 in mauve and pairing it with a statement silk scarf scrunchie, a minimal bracelet in white gold, and this clutch by fan fave Cult Gaia. Add some minimal pumps in gray such as this elegant number by Stuart Weitzman. This is the perfect look to rock as the guest of a classic countryside wedding, or to a chic rooftop summer party.
Navy

While many may see navy as a more “fussy” or old-fashioned color, we at Faviana love how this shade throws in a bit of a nautical flair into any outfit and reminds us of a sweet, idyllic drive along the Italian riviera. We like to think of this as black with a warm weather twist, so adjust your lewk accordingly. We don’t think anybody did navy better than Jil Sander’s Spring / Summer 2019 pret a porter show in Milan. To channel this classic color, opt for your own nautical moment by rocking Faviana Style S10214 with a pair of statement hoop earrings, a simple silver ring, and a black velvet mule. We love everything coming out of Dee Hilfiger’s creative direction at Judith Leiber, and we think S10214 would be stunning paired with their silver bow clutch.
