Side Braid with Curls: Materials
Before getting started on your hairdo, you’re going to need the following materials:
- Hairspray
- Texturizer
- Styling Treatment
- Comb
- Hairties
- Bobby Pins
- Barrel Curler or Wand
How to make Side Braid with Curls in 4 Easy Steps?
Step 1. Prep
Once you have your materials, it’s time to prep your hair. Start by creating a deep side part using the comb. Add styling gel to prep the braid and separate the clean part.
Step 2. French Braid
After having a tamed and clean part, you’re ready to start the side braid. Begin french braiding your hair at the side part. Make sure you only braid until right behind your ear.
Step 3: Secure
Then, secure the braid at the back with bobby pins and a small hair tie. Cover this with your hair to avoid the pins being shown!
Step 4: Curling Wand
Now your ready to break out your curling iron! Using a curling wand or barrel curler, begin creating soft curls around your head. Complete every hair strand, being mindful of the french braid in place.
