The best Halloween costumes are ones you don’t have to pay a lot of money for. We all want an excuse to wear our prom dresses again, so now here’s your chance. Turning your prom dress into a costume is one of the easiest DIY costumes you can do, so there’s no excuse to not have a costume this season. Here are some of the various ways you can rock your prom dress for Halloween!
Prom Dress for Halloween: Audrey Hepburn
If you’re a big Breakfast at Tiffany’s fan, then this one is for you. Black is always a popular dress color choice to wear, so someone was bound to wear it at prom. Grab your little black dress, and transform it into the one and only Audrey Hepburn. A style like Faviana Style 8079 would be perfect, both contemporary and slender fitting. After you have the dress on, all you have to add are long black gloves, black shoes, and a pearl necklace. Finish with your hair in an easy updo and tiara, and everyone will be turning heads at you all night!
Prom Dress for Halloween: Cruella de Vil
Here’s another option for those ladies with a black dress. If you love Disney but want to go with one of the bad guys, go with the fashionable Cruella de Vil. She may not have been nice, but the woman sure does have style. Simply pair your dress similar to Faviana Style 7755 with a big furry coat, preferably white, and black tights. Powder your face to appear more white, and find a wig or temporary hair dye to be completely committed to the black and white look. Throw in some red accent accessories, and your look is complete! To add to the 101 Dalmatians effect, you have an excuse to bring your dog with you, too.
Prom Dress for Halloween: Vampire
For those left with a sexy red prom dress, you can be the lady in red on Halloween as a vampire. A tight-fitting, short dress such as Faviana Style S8085 would work best. To transform into a monster, find a cape or cloak, preferably in black. Pair the attire with black heels to match, and your transformation is complete. Bonus points if you wear fangs and fake blood to really become the part!
Prom Dress for Halloween: Devil
A little sympathy for the devil will be given if you decide to wear your red dress for this costume. The accessories do all the talking, making this Halloween look super easy. All you have to do is wear your red prom dress, such as Faviana Style 8058, and invest in red, devil accessories. A horn headband could be enough, or you can add in a pitchfork and devil’s tail. You can still be your fashionable self by wearing red heels and red gloves, being the most stylish devil out there.
