They are available for purchase at Amazon, Dermstore, Ricky’s NYC, and Beautylish.com. Then you can keep up with all the latest BioDerma products on their social media @BiodermaUSA and #BiodermaUSA.
Prep Your Skin with Exfoliation
In order to prep your skin to look brighter, you’re going to have to exfoliate the surface of your skin. Lucky for you, this can be done in a variety of ways. Any product with an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) like glycolic acid is great to start. Many peel pads and scrubs include this ingredient, which helps gently yet effectively resurface dull, uneven skin tone. In addition, the texture physically resurfaces dead skin cells to immediately make your skin brighter. You want to complete this step after cleansing your skin at night, as your complexion will start to look more even with continued use over time. Since AHAs can make your skin more sensitive to sunlight and dry it out, be sure to use a broad-spectrum sunscreen and face moisturizer in the morning. Exfoliating can also be done with a razor blade for a smoother look.
Prep Your Skin with Masks
If you don’t have time to hit up the spa for a facial before an event, then create your own spa at home! Often times, a face cleanser isn’t enough to solve your skin problems. That is when face masks come in. Face masks come in a wide variety to fit all your needs. For example, a pure-clay face mask can be used for detoxing and brightening. The ingredient charcoal helps draw out the buildup of pollution, dirt, and impurities underneath your skin. You can also create your own mask with ingredients from your kitchen! Simply apply the face mask of your choice in an even layer to clean, dry skin. Leave it on for 10-15 minutes, then rinse off with warm water. For the best results, do this 3 times a week.
