Yesterday I had the pleasure of attending Paola Rossi’s, of Rossi Tuxedo, first NYFW show. Rossi Tuxedo is an Argentinian based brand that focuses on suits and tailored pieces for women. Per last night, the show turned out to be an absolute hit for Rossi Tuxedo’s first collection for NYFW F/W 2020!
The Brand
Hearing about new brands is exciting because not everyone knows about them yet. It’s interesting to see the first of something that has potential, so you can look back and say “oh I saw them before they were popular!”. The brand was created by a woman and strongly supports women and how they feel about themselves. It is special in the fashion industry today to find brands that connect the product to the customer in a different way than before.
The Style
Rossi Tuxedo is just emerging into the fashion realm considering they had their first NYFW show yesterday. What is special about the style of this brand is that there is such a unique flare to each and every suit. Whether you want a set or you want a blazer, there’s one for a special event or simply for a meeting.
The Show
Above, I personally took some shots from where I was seated at the show! Both pieces are very different yet sit in the same category of tailored cut pieces. My favorite is the black with the one button in the center and the unique sleeve design. As for myself, I love a good blazer or pantsuit, so I was definitely in my element!
The show itself was set up in a different way with three separate rooms at the Consulate of Argentina. Each room had a different look with the main room consisting of a long staircase for the models to strut down before giving their best walk. The lights and music were on point which made me forget that this was their first show! Overall, I absolutely loved seeing Rossi Tuxedo’s first show, and I hope to see them again at the next NYFW!
Did you attend any shows during fashion week? If so, what was your favorite show?!
