Primer

Prepping your eyelids with primer not only makes your eye shadow stay longer, but the shadow will be much smoother and vibrant. A bright and smooth shadow that stays on is key in keeping your eyes pop all day long.

Statement Brows

Eyebrows are having such a moment. Thin and extremely tweezed brows are a thing of the past. Thick and dark brows are “in” thanks to Cara Delevingne, and this is great news for your makeup look! Thick brows help frame your face and brighten your eyes. Make sure to keep up with shaping your brows and fill in thinner spaces when needed. There are many different types of products for filling in your brows such as pencils, gels, and powders. You have to try them out to see what works best for you.

Highlighting

Highlighting around your eyes will give your look an instant boost. Just add this to your strobing or contouring daily regimen! Take a highlighter and highlight the inner corners of your eyes, as well as directly under your brows. Take this highlighted look a step further by adding a white or nude eyeliner on your waterline. The eyeliner will brighten up your eyes for a truly enhanced look.

Lashes

Long and voluminous lashes are essential to making your eyes pop. The first thing you should do is use a lash curler to get those lashes as curled as possible. If you don’t have a lash curler just use Miranda Kerr’s favorite trick! Grab a spoon from your kitchen and rinse it with hot water to warm it up. Dry it off and make sure it’s not too hot before you place the edge of the spoon on top of your lashes. Put your fingers on the bottom of your lashes and press onto the spoon to give your lashes a lift!

Once they’re curled, take a lengthening mascara and apply it. Some makeup artists swear by using many different mascaras for the best result – do whatever works for you! Once your lashes are long and luscious your eyes will look brighter than ever!
