The West Coast may have been busy attending the Oscars, but we were here in New York celebrating! The top 50 fashion and beauty bloggers and influencers on the East Coast gathered with us to attend Faviana’s 2018 Oscars Red Carpet Event and Viewing Party on the rooftop of 75 Wall Street, in downtown NYC.
It was empowering to have a large group of confident and inspiring women together to view an extraordinary event. The guest list sent out by Greetabl included notable names in pop culture such as Taylor Nolan from The Bachelor, The Real Housewives of New York City alum Kelly Bensimon, Lauren Wirkus from Summer House, and model Coco Rocha. A variety of fashion influencers also joined us, such as Nicky Hilton, Ashley Smith, Luanna Perez, and Wendy Nguyen. With Chelsea Leyland as the DJ and Bella Magazine as our media partner, we were ready to kick off the night!
In addition to a cool Fashion App Chic Sketch, we were grateful to have technology by A-1 Array. With help from SPS, guests were able to capture single moments in time of all the fun at the event. SPS created our gorgeous step and repeat along with the stunning photobooth wall that goes behind the A-1 Array 3D camera, with gorgeous silver sequins and large white balloons. As more guests started to arrive, they were escorted to the stunning rooftop where the Faviana Clubhouse was situated, with 360 degree panoramic views of the city. Our notable guests got to enjoy drinks by master mixologist, Jonathan Pogash. The entire bar was filled with Van Gogh Vodka, mixing creations together by the second. Of course, other alcohol was displayed at the bar and Van Gogh ‘minitails’ were passed around, including Maison Marcel Rose’ and Chloe Wine.
As a non-alcoholic choice, Flow Water was served to keep our guests hydrated and rejuvenated throughout the night. And what’s a party without some pizza!? &Pizza was there to fill our appetite (you can follow them @andpizza). Additional luxe snacks included popcorn, donut towers, and mini crepe cakes by Lady M!
Of course, savory treats didn’t stop there thanks to Gabriela’s. We had chicken tenders cut in small bite-size pieces with a delicious apple compote and jumbo lump crab cakes with an apple-jicama relish. For those veggie eaters, there were plenty of options available, such as quinoa cakes, mini cheese quesadillas, and mini veggie stuffed mushrooms with onions, peppers, carrots, celery and fresh herbs. Let’s also not forget Elizabeth’s Crostini on the delicious menu, filled with mozzarella cheese, avocado, and chimichurri sauce.
As far as dessert goes, there was a variety of cupcakes from Baked by Melissa, Signature Mille Crepes Cakes by Lady M Cakes, champagne gummy bears, and chocolate covered fruit from Edible Arrangements in the Financial District on 124 Nassau street, New York NY 10038.
