We see a trend appear in New York Fashion Week, and all of a sudden we see it everywhere. The trend we’ve had our eyes on is small sunglasses, showcased on celebrities such as Rihanna, Bella Hadid, and Kendall Jenner. These tiny frames are the latest fashion statement that was taken from the Matrix, and now are seen everywhere. There are many ways to pull off the trend, so we broke down each style for you. Here is exactly how to rock small sunglasses and look like a celeb yourself!
Matrix Small Sunglasses
Big frames are clearly over, so make room for Matrix sunglasses in your spring and summer wardrobe. The whole point of Matrix sunglasses is that they are very small and narrow. They are only meant to cover the tiniest part of your face and protect solely your eyes. You don’t have to be a model or singer to pull of this trend, since it is very fashionable and looks great with every outfit. Wear them with a casual outfit out, or with your prom dress, such as Faviana Style S10075.
Cat-Eye Small Sunglasses
To rock small sunglasses, it’s important to pick the right shape for your eyes and face. The most universally flattering shape is the cat-eye. Ideal for narrow and angular face shapes, the pointy V-shape of the cat-eye frames will make your face appear slightly wider. They’re still the most approachable though, sold from our favorite stores such as Urban Outfitters. Additionally, GiGi Hadid collaborated with Vogue to create her own eye wear line, featuring these cat-eye sunglasses. Can you see how they’re rocked everywhere now?
Small Sunglasses with Circular Frames
Circular or oval frames is spotted on everyone, from Millie Bobby Brown to Bella Hadid. These shades are best for heart-shape and square face shapes, however it can be rather difficult to find a pair that’s the right fit. We recommend going to a Sunglasses Hut and trying them on in person before making any purchases. When you do find the right pair though, you’ll feel and look like a celebrity! Stick with dark frames and sleek styles in an array of colors.
Rectangular Small Sunglasses
If you have more of a round or oval-shaped face, then you’re going to want to purchase a pair of rectangular small glasses. These frames aren’t as extravagant as the cat-eye ones, but it will certainly give you a futuristic feel. Wear these tiny sunglasses with more laid-back styles to look effortlessly chic, and store them basically anywhere. Before spending money and committing to a designer pair, it’s smart to first experiment with styles online, such as on Amazon or ASOS.
