You’re always running late, you love to sleep in and never have enough time to do your hair in the morning, or you ran out of ideas. It’s a new school year, which calls for a new schedule and hairdo. Save yourself time and sleep in a couple extra minutes by trying one of these quick school hairstyles!
Quick School Hairstyle: Braided Half-Up Half-Down
It’s easy to throw your hair in a half-up half-down hairstyle if you’re indecisive with what to do with your hair. Nonetheless, there’s a quick alternative that will only add another minute to your hair routine. Instead of grabbing your hair and putting it into a ponytail, separate the top section out and french braid it back. The braid should only include the top part of your hair that you want to tie back. Once you reach the crown of your head, tie it off with a rubber band, and choose to cover it with a wrapped strand of hair!
Quick School Hairstyle: Side Braid
If you’re in a rush, then a side braided hairstyle is ideal on those busy mornings. If you want a loose look, then purposely make the braid messy! Pull it to the side, braid it quickly, and then pull at each individual strand. If you’re looking for a neater side braid, then pull the strands tighter as you braid. You can also put a bit of gel in your hair beforehand to prevent fly-aways and shorter pieces from falling out. The best part about a side braid is that you can redo it throughout the day without the use of a mirror!
Quick School Hairstyle: Top Knot
You can never go wrong with a top knot! This is a spin-off of your beloved bun. A top knot sits right on top of your head with your hair together in a messy knot. To create these quick school hairstyles, simply flip your hair over or brush it straight up. Then, twist and pull your hair together into a bun. The higher, the better! The best part is that there are different variations of top knots. Rock it with all your hair up in one, two, braided, or half-up half-down. It all depends on your style, and they are all super quick to do!
Quick School Hairstyle: Bun
If you’re looking for a neater or lower bun, or your hair is wet from the shower, then look no further. A ballerina or sock bun will be your best friend. These tight buns are one of the fastest looks to create before school. Simply pull your hair back into a ponytail, twist the hair into a circular bun, and then secure it. The best part is that your hair will be beautifully wavy when you take it out at the end of the day!
