#1 Hidden Rooftop: 75 Wall
Faviana’s Oscars Red Carpet Event happened to take place on the rooftop of 75 Wall Street, in downtown NYC. Home to the Faviana Clubhouse to us, it can be your own special place as well! 75 Wall is a private venue, allowing you to rent it out for any kind of event you desire. From One World Trade Center to the innovative revitalization of the Fulton Center, you see it all with the 360 degree panoramic views of the city. Be sure to check their availability on their website and contact them in advance!
#2 Hidden Rooftop: 230 Fifth
230 Fifth is New York’s largest outdoor Rooftop Garden and fully enclosed Penthouse Lounge. Right on the corner of 27th street, one floor is fully enclosed, and the rooftop garden is open to the Manhattan skyline. For those sunny or rainy days, there are large umbrellas to protect you and your outfits. Even on colder nights, the rooftop is partially heated all-around, including adorable heated igloos to sit in! This place is open to the public, offering an all-you-can-eat brunch on the weekend. Still, you can make reservations to their own events hosted as well as contact them for private events.
#3 Hidden Rooftop: Westlight
Westlight is a 22nd-floor rooftop from atop The William Vale in Williamsburg, overlooking the views of New York City. The first-ever rooftop bar across the river is presented in a stylish glass box, capping the neighborhood’s tallest skyscraper. The team behind the program provides the best foods and drinks. From small plates to global street food, the menu and atmosphere is definitely dynamic! Find this gem at 111 N. 12th Street, Brooklyn.
#4 Hidden Rooftop: Gallow Green
Named after a Scottish field, Gallow Green will make you feel like you’re at a garden party! Fairy lights, tattered flags, and waitstaff dressed in ghostly white are only some of the features to this rooftop gem. Located on top of the McKittrick Hotel, the lodge is opened every day of the week, with a new prix fixe menu on Saturday and Sunday. Make sure to check this out and all of the greenery around you at 542 W 27th Street.
#5 Hidden Rooftop: The Ides
This outdoor teerace rooftop sits on the Wythe Hotel’s sixth floor, right over the East River. The art deco-inspired space is located at 80 Wythe Ave in Brooklyn, but has unobstructed views of the Manhattan skyline. This gem is available for cocktail receptions with hors d’oeuvres and canapés, as well as buffet-style breakfasts, brunches, and lunches. It’s the ideal location for watching the sunset and having a relaxing night in!
