A fishtail braid is easily done by dividing your hair into two even sections. By using two thin strands crossing over your two even sections, you will create a lovely fishtail. How to Start a Fishtail Ponytail

To begin a fishtail ponytail, all you will need is a brush and two elastics. First brush your hair, making sure it is free of all knots. Then, put your hair up in a normal ponytail. Make the height of your ponytail as high or as low as you would like. Once your hair is securely in a ponytail, you will want to start to fishtail your ponytail.
