Makeup is our best friend, but we always struggle when it comes to removing it after a wonderful party or a hectic day at work. All the ladies have been there and so have I. That is why I’m going to tell you my tested and trusted methods to properly take makeup off without harming the skin.
Ditch The Soap
Most of the girls that I know use soap to get rid of the makeup as soon as they reach home from a party or work. It is pretty simple to wash your face and get in the bed. But the truth is, you still have the makeup on. It doesn’t wash away easily, as I am sure you girls must know. Instead of washing your face over and over again, you can simply apply Vaseline on your face and neck with the help of a cotton ball. It acts as a grease and removes makeup in seconds. After cleaning your face entirely with Vaseline, you may wash your face. Isn’t it the best hack ever?
Cleansing Water
I used to dip cotton balls in makeup remover water and hold them on my skin for a few seconds. It is a trusted method to get rid of impurities and makeup. Personally, I always felt that the liquid gets messy, so I jumped to another alternative. Otherwise, it is a great product and saves a lot of time in removing the stubborn makeup off the skin. If you pick this method, don’t forget to moisturize your skin later!
Cleansing Milk
Cleansing milk has a moisturizing touch to it. It has the right amount of creaminess to it and it never feels too greasy on my skin. This product effectively removes makeup, dirt, and impurities off the skin easily. The texture of the cream is lighter than the usual moisturizer, and you can easily scrub it off with a cotton pad.
Take Makeup Off With Wipes
Some of us use waterproof makeup products, and it can be really hard to remove them off our skin! In this case, makeup remover cleansing towelettes will do the magic. It doesn’t matter if you applied waterproof mascara or the one that merges – these wipes will always be your best friend. They are ultra-soft and have a very strong formula that dissolves with the makeup on your face.
Coconut Oil – The Last Resort
In case you are running out of these products, you can simply find one in your kitchen shelf. We all know how coconut oil heals the skin and makes it soft, but did you know it is also a great hack for removing makeup? So don’t spend minutes washing your face with soap when you have a great solution near you. In addition, there are many other natural ways to remove makeup, such as Almond Oil, Jojoba Oil, and Olive Oil!
